Thomas Frank did not rule out a summer departure for Heung-min Son, but insisted he was "not worried" about the Tottenham forward's future.
Son has been at the club for a decade and became the first Spurs captain to lift a European trophy for 41 years after victory in the Europa League final in Bilbao at the end of last season.
However, there have been suggestions that Son could be open to going out on a high, with MLS side LAFC among the clubs linked with a move for the 33-year-old.
A transfer before Spurs' pre-season tour to South Korea appears incredibly unlikely, though there is the possibility of Son finding himself in a similar scenario to Harry Kane two summers ago.
The striker featured at the start of pre-season for Spurs before leaving later in the window to join Bayern Munich.

“Yeah, first and foremost, here’s here now," Frank said of Son.
"I’m not worried too much about it. Let’s take that five or six weeks down the line. That will probably be a question I get the next following weeks, so I’ll practice my answers. Right now, he’s here.”
Frank said Son had been "setting the standards" in pre-season training and he will captain Spurs for 45 minutes against Reading on Saturday, with Cristian Romero leading the side for the other half.
However, Son has entered the final 12 months of his contract at Spurs and is believed to have interest from a number of clubs in Saudi Arabia and the United States.
Responding to the suggestion that Son has earned the right to leave Spurs this summer if he decides he wants a fresh challenge, Frank said: “It’s always tricky, situations like that if that happens.
"Right now I have a player that is fully committed and training well, and will play tomorrow.
"I'm not talking about Sonny, I'm talking about in general. If a player has been at a club a long time, then there will always be a decision for the club to take, of course.
"And of course, the head coach and the guys who are in charge and this case will be with Daniel [Levy] and Johan [Lange]. Because there is something in it if someone wants to leave at a certain stage, then there can be something there. But the club will always decide in the end, of course.”

The future of Romero, one of Spurs' vice-captains last season, has also been in doubt.
The centre-back spoke openly last season of his desire to one day play in Spain and Atletico Madrid are known to be keen admirers.
Spurs signed Kevin Danso on a permanent deal this summer and have since focused further up the pitch in their transfer dealings, but that would likely have to change if Romero did depart.
However, Frank had little desire to discuss what impact the sale of Romero would have on the club's business.
“But it’s like a theory," the Spurs said. "Right now he’s here, that’s what I’m focusing on. As long as players are here, I’m training them, I’m playing with them.
"He’s definitely here and very committed. I know he’s looking forward to the season."
